Cape Town, South Africa 2013

This November, after visiting the beautiful Hermanus, we took the scenic route to Cape Town to stay for a few days. While there, we visited as many sights as we could. Unfortunately, due to high winds, rain and flooding, we were not able to visit a few places on our list, but still had an amazing time!
 Beautiful rainbow over Simon's Town

V&A Market on the Wharf. If you ever have a
chance to visit Cape Town, you must visit this market.
Tons of great foods.
The girls enjoyed this stand named
"Pimp Your Biscuit" (which is what they call cookies here).
The were able to make and bake their own cookies. They loved it!

Cape Town Aquarium. Perfect fix for a rainy day.
Cape to Cuba. Great food and excellent atmosphere.

Floods...

Top of the lighthouse at Cape Point.
Best picture ever! Julie captured the exact moment when lighting struck right next
to us at the lighthouse. The thunder was so loud that my ears were ringing for hours.
Can you tell I was startled? HAHAHA!

Despite the not so great weather at times, we still were able
